Terms of Service
Last updated: July 20, 2026
Welcome to Vouched ("we," "us"), a service operated from Alberta, Canada. By using meetvouched.com, you agree to these terms. We've written them to be readable, because terms you can't understand aren't really an agreement.
1. What Vouched is
Vouched is an introduction service. People join by being vouched for by someone who knows them; members receive introductions one at a time and choose, mutually and privately, whether to connect. Vouched facilitates introductions — it does not guarantee matches, relationships, or outcomes. Chemistry belongs to humans.
2. Who may use Vouched
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- You must use your real identity. Profiles are born from a real person's vouch; impersonation defeats the entire point and results in removal.
- You may only vouch for a real person you genuinely know, using their real contact information, and only with good intent.
3. The code of conduct
Vouched works because behavior has weight here. By using it you agree to:
- Treat every introduction with basic respect — a "no thanks" is always acceptable; cruelty is not.
- Never request money, financial information, gifts, or investments from anyone you meet on Vouched.
- Never use Vouched to harass, stalk, deceive, or locate a person, or to contact someone who has declined or blocked you.
- Not post or send unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit content in profiles or messages.
- Not scrape, copy, automate access to, or attempt to circumvent the security or privacy protections of the service.
Violations may result in suspension or permanent removal — and remember: your conduct reflects on the person who vouched for you. Serious reported violations may be shared with your voucher.
4. Your content
Vouches, profile text, and photos remain yours. By posting them you give us the limited license needed to operate the service — to store them, show them to your introduction, and use them to make matches. We don't use your content for advertising or sell it to anyone.
5. Safety
We build protective systems — vouched-only membership, scam-pattern warnings, link blocking, feedback loops — but no service can guarantee the conduct of other people, online or in person. Meet first in public places, tell someone where you're going, and never send money to someone you haven't met. If someone on Vouched asks you for money, report it to us at hello@meetvouched.com.
6. Ending things
You may stop using Vouched at any time, and may request deletion of your account and data (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. A voucher may withdraw their vouch; the vouched person keeps their account, and we may ask them to be re-vouched.
7. The service, as-is
Vouched is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or your interactions with other members. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including the law of Alberta.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alberta.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above will change and meaningful updates will be announced by email. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
